The new Renault Duster arrives with a completely redesigned exterior, modern platform and significantly upgraded interiors. Built on the Renault-Nissan CMF-B architecture, the SUV promises improved ride quality, better safety and more advanced technology compared to the earlier generation model.

The Renault Duster was one of the most influential SUVs in the Indian car market when it was first introduced. It created a new segment by offering genuine SUV capability, strong performance and good ride comfort at an affordable price.

The new generation Duster takes that legacy forward with a more aggressive design language, featuring a bold front grille, sharp LED lighting and squared wheel arches that give the SUV a much stronger road presence.

The new Duster will compete with popular midsize SUVs in India such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder.

Engine & Specs

The Renault Duster is expected to be powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an engine capacity of 1330 cc. This engine produces around 154 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque, offering strong performance for both city and highway driving.

The engine will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission as well as a CVT automatic gearbox. Power will primarily be sent to the front wheels, while certain global markets may also get all-wheel-drive versions.

The SUV is built on Renault’s CMF-B modular platform, which improves structural strength, ride comfort and safety.

Mileage / Range

The petrol manual version of the Renault Duster is expected to deliver a mileage of around 17 km/l, while the automatic variant could offer approximately 16 km/l depending on driving conditions.

Renault may also introduce a hybrid powertrain in the future, which could deliver a fuel efficiency of over 20 km/l.
