Triumph Announces Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2026 Across India
Triumph Motorcycles has announced the 13th edition of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in India with participation expected across more than 50 cities.
Triumph Motorcycles has officially announced the 13th edition of the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) for 2026, bringing together motorcycle enthusiasts across India for one of the world’s most recognized motorcycling events focused on social awareness and community participation.
The global event is scheduled to take place on 17 May 2026 and will be organized simultaneously across more than 100 countries. In India, the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is expected to witness participation across over 50 cities along with active involvement from more than 1 lakh Triumph motorcycle owners.
The event is aimed at raising awareness and funds for men’s mental health initiatives and prostate cancer research. Participants typically ride classic and modern classic motorcycles while dressed in elegant gentleman-style attire, creating a unique blend of motorcycling culture, style and social responsibility.
Triumph Motorcycles stated that this year’s edition is particularly important for the brand in India as it celebrates the milestone of crossing 1 lakh Triumph motorcycles on Indian roads. The company highlighted that the achievement reflects the growing popularity of the brand among Indian riders and enthusiasts.
Since its global launch in 2012, the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride has evolved into a major international movement. The event has brought together over half a million riders worldwide and has collectively raised more than USD 55 million towards men’s health initiatives.
Speaking about the announcement, Manik Nangia, President, Pro-biking at Bajaj Auto Ltd, stated that the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride represents much more than a motorcycle ride and reflects a shared sense of purpose among riders across the world.
Triumph also highlighted recent updates to its India strategy. The company has transitioned its 400cc platform to a 350cc engine configuration, allowing customers to benefit from the lower 18 percent GST bracket. According to Triumph, this change can result in on-road savings of up to Rs 21,500 for customers while making the brand more accessible to a wider audience.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was originally founded in Sydney, Australia, by Mark Hawwa as a themed ride aimed at challenging stereotypes associated with motorcyclists while building a stronger sense of community and supporting an important social cause.
Triumph became the official motorcycle partner for the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in 2014 and has continued supporting the initiative globally through awareness campaigns, fundraising activities and exclusive rewards for participants.
Although Triumph supports the event, participation remains open to riders of all modern classic and classic motorcycles regardless of brand. Participants are encouraged to register online and take part in the ride while supporting awareness initiatives related to men’s health.
