Why This Move Matters
By downsizing the engine to the 350cc category, Triumph benefits from:
Lower taxation → Reduced pricing
Better accessibility for buyers
Increased competitiveness in the mid-capacity segment
At the same time, the brand has ensured that performance remains strong with model-specific tuning.
New Tracker 400
Adding to the excitement, Triumph has also introduced the Tracker 400, a new model based on the same platform and engine. It is expected to bring a more flat-track inspired riding experience to the lineup.
With this move, Triumph is clearly targeting a broader audience in India while maintaining its premium positioning. The updated 350cc range could significantly boost sales in the competitive mid-capacity motorcycle segment.
